On a machine level, everything is represented as binary numbers, strings of 1s and 0s. That means that all text, even these words you are reading now, were at some point translated into binary strings. To represent letters, numbers and symbols on the binary level, the American Standard Code for Information Interchange was developed. This code, shortened to ASCII, allows for all common characters to be translated into binary code in a way that every computer can understand and read the information the same way. CompSciLib's Text to Binary Converter is able to read and translate 82 of these characters, which are documented here.
